ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Cusco – Short with overnight in Machu Picchu Inca Trail.

Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or Sacred Valley, and we go to Ollantaytambo station where we take the train on the road linking Cusco – Machu Picchu, we stop at Km 104 where the entrance to the Inca Trail, in this place is the Archaeological Complex Chachabamba (2150 m / 7052 ft).

We cross the Vilcanota river and we begin the trekking along a steep path, we will witness a flora clearly belonging to the cloud forest, after 4 hours we arrive to the Archaeological Center of Wiñaywayna (2650 m.s.n./ 8692 ft). We will visit this place where we can see the platforms that were used for agriculture.

Then we continue on a flat road, where the incredible flora awakens our senses, we arrive at Inti Punku, where we can see Machu Picchu in all its splendor, then descend to the control gate of Machu Picchu, we take the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes). Where we leave you at your hotel so you can rest.

DAY 2: Visit to Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco.

Early in the morning, we took the bus to take us to Machu Picchu, where you will have guided for 2 hours, understand each main point of Machu Picchu, the agricultural area, residential area, quarries, temple of the three windows, Parsonage, intihuatana, sacred rock, industrial zone, condor temple, fountains, temple of the sun and more.

After these two hours you have free time to return to enjoy Machu Picchu, to appreciate better way, the stone walls, the flora, fauna, mountains surrounding this magical place. Machu Picchu is amazing.

At the scheduled time, will have to take the bus back to the town of Machu Picchu, where you will take the train that will bring you back to Ollantaytambo station, there will be waiting a mobility that will take you back to the city of Cusco, we leave at your hotel.
